Sir Martin Sorrell is Founder and Executive Chairman of S4 Capital plc, a new-age, purely digital advertising and marketing services business, which he founded in 2018. Listed on the London Stock Exchange, S4 Capital employs more than 7,000 people across 33 countries.
Sir Martin previously founded and served as CEO of WPP for 33 years, building it into the world’s largest advertising and marketing services company. Educated at Christ’s College, Cambridge, and Harvard Business School, he is a recipient of the Harvard Business School Alumni Achievement Award. He was ranked the world’s second-best-performing CEO by Harvard Business Review in both 2016 and 2017 and named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People. Sir Martin is a Trustee of Bloomberg Philanthropies and sits on the Executive Committee of the Future Investment Initiative Institute.
